I often pick up those little bits of mussel shells that are bright blue or the prettiest shades of purple and I save them thinking I'll make something someday. Well, here is my newest creation! I have crushed my beautiful little shells, mixed them with resin and set the pieces inside a stainless setting.
Each necklace is truly unique. Some show more pieces of the shells while other pendants are more of a solid color. This varies from batch to batch depending on how well the shells were ground.
Jewelers resin holds the shell pieces securely in place.
