The bands I use for my jewelry are 100% upcycled and have been picked up off the beach by me.
Made with real bands that are put on lobster's claws after they are hauled from the ocean and taken out of the traps. Bands are very important since they keep the lobsters from pinching human fingers and fighting with other lobsters while being transported.
The bands are cut into shape and placed inside a stainless steel pendant and include stainless earring wires. I use jewelers resin to completely and permanently seal the band in place which leaves absolutely no cracks so wearing these in the water is OK.
Pendant size 12mm.
Stainless is a wonderful alternative to sterling silver because it will not fade, rust or tarnish. It is also great for sensitive ears.
