Another thrift store find that I couldn’t leave alone!
This heart was originally a mirror, but I had other plans for it. I painted over the mirror and gave it a whole new look using sea glass in different shades of green, blue and lavender.
I also added some green recycled crushed glass to fill in all the blank spaces.
The top of the heart is somewhat rough and is not smooth to the touch.
I’m always looking for something old that I can turn into something different, and this project was so fun to create.
A little thrift store find, a whole lot of sea glass, and another one-of-a-kind piece made right here in Friendship, Maine.
Resin holds all the pieces securely in place.
