A little piece of Maine, made from little pieces of the coast.
This Maine-shaped piece is created with sea glass that I found along the shores of Friendship, Maine. I arranged the soft whites, frosty clears and hints of seafoam into the shape of the state I call home.
Set against a black background and finished with a simple white frame, the sea glass really gets to do the talking.
The frame itself was a thrift store find. I gave it a fresh new look and a second life, because sometimes the best things deserve another trip around.
Measures approximately 13 x 16 1/2 inches.
