This coastal piece began as a thrift store find and was lovingly repurposed into a one-of-a-kind work of art. The weathered blue-and-white frame evokes the feel of a seaside cottage, while the center features five handcrafted sea glass hearts.
Each piece of sea glass was personally beachcombed by me along the shores of Friendship, Maine. The three white hearts are created from genuine sea glass, carefully painted on the backside to preserve their smooth, frosted beauty while achieving a crisp white finish. The green and amber hearts showcase the natural colors gifted by the sea.
Resin holds all the pieces securely in place and make the pieces look as though they are fused onto the glass.
Frame measures 6 1/2 x 6 1/2 inches.
