This piece of driftwood was once part of a lobster trap. It is called a trap runner and it’s made from oak. Runners are attached to the bottom of a trap to help slide it across the deck of a boat. These wood pieces can fall off over time and occasionally end up on the beach as driftwood.
Measures approximately 24 inches long.
Includes 23 pieces of yellow and orange sea pottery.
I rough painted the wood green.
Each piece is securely held in place with a strong adhesive glue.
This piece can be laid horizontally on a shelf or use the hanger on the back to display it on a wall.
