Made from paint that has been sanded from a Maine lobster buoy.
Each year lobstermen bring their buoys back to the shop to be repainted for the new season. The buoys are sanded, scraped and will eventually be tossed back into the ocean to start the cycle all over again.
Pendant is double sided meaning you can see the paint on both sides.
Chain measures 18 inches and includes a lobster claw closure.
I apply a jewelry resin which permanently seals in the paint leaving no cracks.
